Good pub food

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Passing Clouds winery....very good selection of pub food. It's not what you would consider as typical pub food, there seems to be a little more thought put into the menu, without compromising some of the favourites. Both our meals were great....Pot Pie and Japanese Pancakes. Great location and well worth the visit.

  • We visited Daylesford for a couple of days; there are a lot of restaurants to choose from in the town. A work colleague of our daughter recommended the Farmers Arms and we are pleased we took his advice. There is an excellent range of beers and of wines by the glass. The menu is short but eclectic - we chose the pie of the day (peppered steak) which came with chips and salad. The portions were generous (to say the least). We shared a dessert, which was also good, and enjoyed a glass of late harvest Viognier with it.
