Worth the drive from anywhere ... a Must!

The Farmer's Arms certainly surprises. From the outside it seems just another pub on a cross roads miles from anywhere. Stepping over the threshold transports you into the place you always want to be. The d├ęcor is fresh, yet sensitively renovated using reclaimed solid timber doors as wall panelling. A genuine welcome from the staff; a menu which gives the dilemma of "what can I bear to forego so that I can have what I can't walk away from!" Clearly the Chef loves his work and is a maestro. The nougat and pistachio bombe is a Must Have.
Our great regret is that we live 500 kms from this hotel. If only we could dine here more often. But don't take my word for it. This is an easy drive up from Melbourne, so try it. It's well worth the drive.
